A ticket to wait...

Internet changes the social communication of urban society. We may face a virtual identity on net, but geeks enjoy anonymity. In the meantime, the media, aviation, retail, tele communication, finance, investments are become your second land on Internet. You use Internet to deal anyone, buy and purchase,make your life easy and save time.
But all merits have demerits. So, the ticket booking facility of Internet has some dark circles.

Hi,

I am Kanwar Inder Singh Sandhu. I am working at Bangalore.

I have a complaint regarding the airlines and the websites which book the tickets for the domestic airlines

I have purchased a ticket from ezeego1.com on 23rd October, 2007 . Ticket was scheduled for Delhi to Bangalore on 12th November, 2007 at 7:10 a.m. in morning. PNR number and reference number was issued for the ticket by ezeego1.com. Ticket was with JetLIte airways. The amount has been deducted from my ICICI Gold Credit Card.

When I reached the airport at 4.30 a.m. on the day of departure I asked the JetLite officials at the airport counter to confirm that ticket is ok. That guy, only having a look at the e-ticket print out, confirmed the ticket and asked me to enter into the terminal via gate number 1. I (as ticket was confirmed by airline official), asked my parents to leave for Patiala, Punjab.

After my parents left, I entered the terminal to get the boarding pass. I got through my luggage scanning and get into the queue for getting the boarding pass. But to my utmost surprise the JetLite official at the boarding counter, declined the air ticket saying that there is no booking for the specified PNR and reference number. I again checked with the reservation officials of JetLite. At this time officials were changed and after checking into the system they refused the ticket and told that they can't do anything about this. And I was not allowed to board the plane.

I tried calling ezeego1 customer center numbers but no one was picking up the phone. And the situation is same till today. No one picks the phone even after 30 minutes of call. So, I with no option left I started looking for another flight but due to diwali season no flight was available for 12th November, 2007. So, after 5 hours fight with JetLite and ezeego1 I left the airport and went for hotel in Delhi.

Then I got the flight for Wednesday i.e. 14 th November, 2007. I have to stay at a hotel at Delhi, lost three working days and an important meeting at office, and new flight cost me a lot. The mental and physical harassment that I went through was immense.

After reaching Bangalore I mailed ezeego1 and JetLite asking for explanation for the same and refund of ticket charges. JetLite responded back with the same answer that there was no booking for your PNR that's why you were not allowed to board the plane. But the frauds, ezeego1, have not replied till today. I have mailed them three times but of no use.

There are some other guys and gals which are facing the same problem with the tickets booked from ezeego1. You can check them out at

I kindly request you to please help us out. And help us to bring this issue in front of Indian public and government, So that no other fellow Indian should face the same problem as we are facing right now. Indian government should take a strict action against these websites.
